Prof. Chun-Yi Su

IEEE Senior Member

Concordia University, Canada

BIO: Dr. Su received his B.E. degree in control engineering from Shaanxi Institute of Mechanical Engineering (now Xi'an University of Technology) in 1982, his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in control engineering from South China University of Technology, China, in 1987 and 1990, respectively. His Ph.D. study was jointly directed at Hong Kong Polytechnic (now The Hong Kong Polytechnic University), Hong Kong.

After long stint at the University of Victoria (1991-1998, Canada), he joined the Concordia University (Canada) in 1998, where he is currently Concordia Research Chair in Control and Professor of Mechanical Engineering. He has also held several short-time visiting positions in Japan, Singapore, China and New Zealand.

Dr. Su's research covers control theory and its applications to various mechanical systems. His current main research interests are in control techniques for smart material based actuators, robotic and mechatronic systems, vehicle suspension and vibration, and nonlinear control systems. He is the author or co-author of over 180 publications, which have appeared in journals, as book chapters and in conference proceedings. 

Dr. Su is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, and Journal of Control Theory & Applications. He is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Mechatronics and on the Editorial Board of International Journal of Intelligent Systems Technologies and Applications. He has served on the technical program committee of numerous conferences in the area of control and automation. He has served as committee chairs of a number of these conferences, including the Program Chair of IEEE CCA07.

Prof. Huosheng Hu

BIO: Huosheng Hu (Life Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in industrial automation from Central South University, Changsha, China, in 1982, and the Ph.D. degree in robotics from the University of Oxford, Oxford, U.K., in 1993.,He is currently a Professor with the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, University of Essex, Colchester, U.K., where he is leading the Robotics Research Group. He has authored or coauthored more than 420 articles. His current research interests include robotics, human–robot interaction, embedded systems, mechatronics, and pervasive computing.,Dr. Hu is a founding member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Technical Committee on Networked Robots, a fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and a Senior Member of the Association for Computing Machinery. He is currently an Editor-in-Chief for International Journal of Automation and Computing and the Online Robotics Journal and an Executive Editor of the International Journal of Mechatronics and Automation.

Prof. Xiaoping Li

BIO: Li Xiaoping, Dean of the School of Computer Science at Guangdong University of Technology, is a national high-level talent. He is a specially appointed professor, second level professor, and doctoral supervisor under the Hundred Talents Program of the university. He is a senior member of IEEE, an outstanding member of CCF (China Computer Society), an ACM member, deputy director of CCF Collaborative Computing Committee, and executive member of the Intelligent Simulation Optimization and Scheduling Committee of China Simulation Society. The scientific research projects I have led include: 2 National Key R&D Program projects, 2 National Key R&D Program projects, 7 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, 1 National Natural Science Foundation key project, 1 National 863 Program, 1 National Science and Technology Support Program, and 1 Jiangsu Province Key R&D Program. Prof. Pascal Lorenz

Pascal Lorenz eceived his M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Nancy, France. Between 1990 and 1995 he was a research engineer at WorldFIP Europe and at Alcatel-Alsthom. He is a professor at the University of Haute-Alsace, France, since 1995. His research interests include QoS, wireless networks and high-speed networks. He is the author/co-author of 3 books, 3 patents and 200 international publications in refereed journals and conferences.

He was Technical Editor of the IEEE Communications Magazine Editorial Board (2000-2006), IEEE Networks Magazine since 2015, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology since 2017, Chair of IEEE ComSoc France (2014-2020), Financial chair of IEEE France (2017-2022), Chair of Vertical Issues in Communication Systems Technical Committee Cluster (2008-2009), Chair of the Communications Systems Integration and Modeling Technical Committee (2003-2009), Chair of the Communications Software Technical Committee (2008-2010) and Chair of the Technical Committee on Information Infrastructure and Networking (2016-2017). Assoc. Prof. Vincent Cheng Siong Lee

Vincent CS Lee is currently an Associate Professor (top Level D professorial) with the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of IT, Monash University in Melbourne. He is an elected Fellow of The Institute of Engineers, Australia (FIEAust), a Senior Member of IEEE (USA). His education qualifications include PhD degree from The University of Newcastle, NSW in Australia, Bachelor and Master degrees in EEE, both from the National University of Singapore; MBA from Henley Management College in Oxford, Brunel University, England; BBus (Hons 1st class in Economics & Finance) and MBus (Accountancy), both from RMIT University in Melbourne. He is an active researcher and educator (with Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching from Monash University) with 35 years as academicians for four universities including Monash University and Swinburne University, both in Melbourne, joint Monash-South East University in Suzhou, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He was visiting Professors with School of Economics and Management, and School of Computing and Technology, Tsinghua University in Beijing. Lee’s research and higher education teaching (developed and delivered undergraduate and postgraduate courses) span multi-disciplinary domains across IT, Digital Health, Signal and Information Processing, Financial Engineering (FinTech), Educational Data Mining (with learner-centric education technology tools), Explainable AI, Deep ML, Computer Vision for dynamic objects tracking, and Multiagent Autonomous Systems. Assoc. Prof. Tao Huang

Dr. Huang is a Senior Member of IEEE and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. He also holds an M.Eng. in Sensor System Signal Processing from The University of Adelaide, Adelaide, Australia, and a B.Eng. in Electronics and Information Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China.

Currently, Dr. Huang is an Electronic Systems and IoT Engineering Senior Lecturer (equivalent to an associate professor in the North American system) at James Cook University, Cairns, Australia, and serves as the course coordinator for the Master of Engineering (Professional). He is also the Deputy Head of International Partnerships within the College of Science and Engineering. In addition, he has held various academic positions such as Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Research Fellow, visiting scholar at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, research associate at the University of New South Wales, and postdoctoral research fellow at James Cook University. Before academia, Dr. Huang has gained significant industry experience and held industry positions such as senior software engineer, senior data scientist, project team lead, and technical lead.

Prof. John Watkins

BIO: John M. Watkins received the B.S. degree from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, Lincoln, in 1989, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Ohio State University, Columbus, in 1991 and 1995, respectively, all in electrical engineering.,He was an Assistant Professor and then an Associate Professor with the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD. He is a Professor and the Chairperson with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Wichita State University, Wichita, KS. His current research interests include time-delay systems, robust control, mobile sensor networks, and aerospace systems.,Dr. Watkins was a recipient of the Wallace Excellence in Teaching Award in 2007. He is a corresponding editor of the IEEE Control Systems Magazine and an associate editor on the Conference Editorial Board of the IEEE Control Systems Society. He was the Student Affairs Chair of the IEEE Multi-conference on Systems and Control in 2008, a Vice-Chair of Interactive Papers of the IEEE Conference on Decision and Control in 2007, the Registration Chair of the American Control Conference in 2006, and the Finance Chair of the American Control Conference in 2002. He was a NASA-ASEE Summer Faculty Fellow in 1999 and 2000.

Assoc.Prof.Changdong Wang

BIO: Wang Changdong, Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Computer Science, Sun Yat sen University, IEEE Senior Member, and Outstanding Member of CCF. My research direction is graph data mining and applications. In the past five years, nearly 100 papers have been published in IEEE Trans series journals or CCF A conference papers such as KDD, including 6 highly cited ESI papers. Google has over 6000 citations and an H-index of 39. Hosted 16 projects including the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Youth Fund, Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation Key Project, and National Natural Science General Project. The research results have won the first and second prizes of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Award, and have been applied in scenarios such as telecommunications AI anti fraud, intelligent breeding, and precise docking of enterprise technology envoys. Guide students to win awards such as the Excellent Master's Thesis Award from the China Electronics Society.

He is the Associate Editor (AE) of the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research (JAIR) and Neural Networks (CCF B-SCI), as well as the Guest Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Big Data (TBD). He also serves as the Co Chair of the Program Committee (PC Co chair) of the 16th International Conference on Advanced Data Mining and Applications (ADMA 2020). He has served as Vice Chairman of CCF Guangzhou Branch (2019.3-2021.3) and Chairman of CCF-YOCSEF Guangzhou Branch (2020-2021), and currently serves as the Working Group Leader of CCF Student Branch (2021.4-2023.4) and Executive Committee Member and Branch Working Committee.

Assoc.Prof.Shizheng

BIO:Zheng Shi is an associate professor in the school of of Intelligent System Science and Engineering, Jinan University. He has been engaged in research work on intelligent communications, Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence for a long time. He has published more than 80 academic papers, including more than 40 IEEE journal papers, and have applied for and been authorized more than 20 domestic and foreign invention patents. Hosted 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 2 Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation general projects, etc., with a cumulative funding scale of nearly 1.6 million RMB yuan. He won the 2014 Jiangsu Province Outstanding Master's Thesis, the 2018 Jinan University "Celera" Scientific Research Outstanding Contribution Award, the 2020 Postdoctoral Academic Forum Outstanding Thesis Second Prize, and the 2019-2021 Jinan University "Celera" Scientific Research Outstanding Contribution Award , selected into the first level of the "Jinan Double Hundred Talents Plan" Jinan Outstanding Youth in 2020. In addition, the applicant has accumulated fruitful research results in performance analysis and optimization of time-related communication systems, and therefore won the 2022 Macao SAR Science and Technology Award. Prof. Ning Tan

BIO:Tan Ning, male, PhD, associate professor at the School of Computer Science, Sun Yat sen University. I have participated in multiple research projects in France and Singapore, focusing on modeling, design, simulation, optimization, planning, and control of various robot systems, covering basic research and application development. Has published multiple journals, international conference papers (including IEEE ICRA, a top conference in the field of robotics), books, and chapters within the book. The research achievements have received extensive attention and reports from CNBC Channel, EmTech World Emerging Technology Summit, Singapore's Straits Times, and Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao. In terms of academic services, I have served as a member of the procedural committee for international conferences such as ISNN, HAI, ICICIP, and ICIA. Prof. An Zeng

BIO: Zeng An, female, postdoctoral, master's supervisor, and professor. Graduated from South China University of Technology with a major in Computer Application Technology and a Ph.D. in Engineering, currently serving as the Vice Dean of the School of Computer Science at Guangdong University of Technology. I conducted postdoctoral research at the School of Computer Science and School of Medicine at Dalhousie University in Canada from September 2008 to August 2010; From December 2016 to December 2017, as a member of the 17th batch of doctoral service teams, I went to Guizhou University of Finance and Economics for on-the-job training, serving as an assistant to the president and vice dean of the School of Big Data Finance; Hosted 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 2 Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Plan project, and 1 Guangzhou Science and Technology Plan project. I have published over 50 papers in publications such as IEEE Intelligent Systems, Journal of Gerontology: Medical Sciences, and Journal of Electronic Science. Prof. Lunke Fei

BIO: Lunke Fei, Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Computer Science, Guangdong University of Technology, Senior Member of CCF, and IEEE Senior Member. Graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a doctoral degree in 2016 and holds a postdoctoral position at the University of Macau. My research interests mainly include pattern recognition, biometric recognition, and computer vision. I have published more than 60 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals and conferences, including IEEE TIP, TNNLS, TIFS, TMM, TCSVT, TSMC, TIM, THMS, TCYB, AAAI, IJCAI, ACM MM, etc., including IEEE Trans/ More than 30 CCF A-class papers. Published over 3700 Google academic citations with an H-factor of 29. Received the Best Paper Award (CCBR2017) and Best Student Paper Award (CCBR2022) at the China Biometric Recognition Conference. He has successively served as an Associate Editor for the journal International Journal of Image and Graphics, an editorial board member for International Journal of Biometrics, a young editorial board member for the Journal of Automation (English version), and a guest editorial board member for IET Biometrics. Hosted projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and won one second prize for scientific and technological progress in Guangdong Province. I am currently an executive member of the Computer Vision Committee and a member of the Collaborative Computing Committee of the Chinese Computer Society; Visual Big Data Committee of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics; Member of the Pattern Recognition Committee of the Chinese Artificial Intelligence Society.

Prof. Qinghua Zhu

Zhu Qinghua, PhD, Associate Professor, Senior Member of IEEE, ACM Member I worked as a visiting scholar at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from October 2014 to October 2015, 2017 to September 2018. The current research projects include: 1 National Natural Science Foundation general project I am responsible for and 1 Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation project. As the project leader, completed research on two Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects. I have participated in multiple research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Hosted or served as the technical leader to complete research and development of multiple enterprise web information systems and network security software. I have published over 20 EI indexed papers as the first author/corresponding author (including over 10 SCI indexed papers), and my main research findings have been published in the IEEE Transactions series of journals.

Research fields: intelligent scheduling of multi robots in chip manufacturing systems, intelligent scheduling of cloud computing/edge computing, and discrete event dynamic systems.
